Need an English Teacher (who worked in Russia) for an Interview for my blog (free with your promotion)

I am running a small blog called RULEXPAT and I am looking for English Teacher who had worked both in Russia and Poland to have him/her answer a few interview questions regarding the teaching experiences in those countries and how it differs.

You're an English teacher in PL?? Never knew that... Have you taught (or lived/worked) in Russia as well? I'm curious to hear about it if you've ever taught there. I've visited St Petersburg in the past and loved it but unfortunately never got the chance to return since and visit the rest of the country.

I spent a few years in RU. I've still got the scar. Never a dull moment. Yeah, Petersburg is something else.

Were you in Moscow, St Petersburg or elsewhere? I've visited the palaces and a few sites around St Petes but didn't get to see much aside from the usual tourist traps. My aunt taught there for a while as well.

What do you mean by scar? Did some cop beat you up or something? I know the police can be pretty rough there. I was chatting with a guy who was there on business and he told me how a cop broke his window because he thought the hand rolled cigarette he was smoking in his car was a joint.

I liked the culture and all. However, I found the people working at the stores like supermarkets, delis, clothing stores to be a bit rude - especially the older ladies. Kind of like an old commie environment and attitude persisted like even more so than the sort of personality and vibes a lot of the old timers who've spent most of their lives in PRL times.

BIIIIIG drinking culture lol - evne more so than in Poland. Some of these guys would go on like 24-48 hour benders just drinking, dancing, eating, going to the steam room, going outside naked in the freezing cold, drinking and eating again... they'll go on with this for days lol

Both places. St. P for a couple of years, then Moscow for one. Picked up the scar when I was jumped by two punks. One smashed a bottle of beer over my head. My beer. I could write a book but gotta go for today.

Jesus.... ya I hear that happens quite often in Russia. Lot of attacks by skinheads and ultranationalist types on foreigners (esp those from muslim countries from central asia), gays, blacks, etc.
