Working in Poland with basic Knowledge of Polish

Hi guys!
I arrived in Poland (Oswiecim concretely) a couple of weeks ago and I applied to work as Spanish Teacher in several language academies but unfortunately I have not been successful due to the end of the school year.

Does someone know a job that a person who masters English, French, German, Catalan and is a Spanish Teacher, native speaker of the last mentioned language, can do in Poland other than teaching?

Thanks a lot!
Tony

I have no idea about Auschwitz or its History. And I guess I would need to know Polish. They have already guides. I do not think they would need someone else. Maybe it is worth trying, but I would not explain things like a Polish person who knows the History of his/her town, so...It will be hard.

Thanks!

i guess they have a different guides for groups from different countries. so you wouldnt work with polish tourists but with lets say french and spanish. learning everything what you need to know to be a guide shouldnt take you longer than one month i guess. give it a try, there are more and more spanish tourist in krakow from what ive noticed.

The best bet is to advertise yourself and look for private students to tide you over. Spanish is a language that is much sought after.

I do not know how. Do you know of any of advertising way apart from newspapers? If it is only through newspapers, do you know any that can be reliable?

Word of mouth can be good. Or check out local directories.
