I'm about to move to Poland to my girlfriend's town (Poznan), I would like to know if there are some opportunities to work there as a musician,I've been playing with some latin bands on cruise lines for a while, I play popular latin music (salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggeton, bachata) and also standards in english, pop, oldies, rock and roll,etc.. I also can teach how to dance all this latin styles in a very good level.

I know how to cook Mexican food (in a professional way), because I worked many years in some of the most popular mexican restaurants with my mother (she was a chef) in Mexico city.

So what do you think? do you think I can do something there?, I hope to have some comments...........

I wish you all the best!

There is a Mexican Bar here in Gliwice and I think it's quite popular. Enchiladas, burritos, tacos and much much more. Ur food is tasty!!

Poland has a rich dancing tradition and an appreciation of the salsa. I think it depends on luck but, if u focus enough, u'll be successful.

Good luck again amigo

Hi! You will be fine. Polish people love Latin things. There is even a salsa school in Poznan, I just don`t recall the name. I wish to know how to dance samba :)))

Best of luck.

I'm a Latin musician and dancer. Any chances in my profession in Poland?

Do you know how many chances I have here to succeed in my profession here in Poznan?

hola;)

don't know exactly the chances for you but "latin" is quite popular and your first step should be asking in latin clubs...check muchos potatos (stupid name but it works;) - always busy;), piano bar (in browar), cuba libre, and sth around wrocławska street but just heard about it...they like to organize salsa lessons etc.ask there, who knows. at least they will give you more info where to look for sth.

suerte!!!!;)

Salsa is very fashionable now, so I think there's no problem. I wish you good luck!
BTW, what instruments do you play?
