you are a brave man .... a very brave man if you even try to work this one out pmsl
I put this forum in the same bracket as a cryptic crossword.............just when you think you have the answer it goes off in a totally different dirrection than what it started with
I am STILL looking for a thread that starts on a topic, stays on the topic and finishes on the topic.............thus far.........not much luck
Blingin, why on earth would you go to Poland and stay wih his parents while he's in England? What's the name of he town you're going to live in? Is it big or small? If you don't know Polish then you can count only on teaching English for a living. Unless of course you have a university degree or sth of this sort, then you might have a chance getting a job in a place where English is a company language.
Trust me, living in Poland is not easy for foreigners, especialy when they don't know anyone here. I know how hard it was for my husband and he had my and my family's support.
and one more thing: I love my mother-in-law very much, but i don't think i could go to the US and live with her while my man was in Poland. That's just retarded!!! I mean don't you want to be with your BF?
No, I don't hate her. And you right, I didn't read her first post carefully enough, but not becuse i'm too busy hating her, but because i'm at work. Personally i think that briging up blingin's posts from God knows how long ago is mean and i am not going to comment on that matter any further.
Moving on: if she wants to learn Polish in Poland there are a lot of Polish courses organized in bigger cities in PL, so she shouldn't have a problem finding one, as long as she doesn't wind up in some small-a** town. And if she's inerested in working as an English lector, she should have her boyfriend look up ads from language schools and apply know, because they're hiring for new school year right know and in Sept or Oct she might have a problem finding a job because most language schools will have already hired their staff by then.
And I'm sorry if the "r" word from my previous post has offended anyone. I wasn't referring to the author of the thread.
So girl, if you wanna come to PL, go ahead. but don't expect it'll be easy. As you can tell from the previous posts in this thread ignorance is pretty common in Poland, and my husband will confirm that. So good luck with whatever you're going to do (and i mean it, sausage)
