I am currently at secondary school, I am learning to speak polish because my family is from Poland, I also love the country. I am considering moving there when I get older, can you give me any advise please?

Have you ever visited Poland for a time longer than the wait time for a connecting flight?
If not, then this is where you should start. See if you like it and take it from there.

I agree.

stevegw, whenever you consider relocating you need to have visited the place you're moving to several times, and it's helpful to have visited for a lengthy period of time like a month or more if possible.

Also, you need to decide where you want to move to which is why these visits are essential. Unless you have decided on a particular town/city because of family connections.

When you visit each time you should find out as much as you can then. Important things like the job market and health care, how you get taxed and things like that. A LOT of planning needs to go into it.

You're already learning the language so that will be a great advantage to you.

I see from your profile you life in England so why not try to arrange even a long weekend in Poland in the near future. I'm not sure how old you are, are you nearly finished high school?

If your family are from Poland what do they say about it? Would one of them go with you?

Yes.

I have family over there. If I was to move I would go to Krakow or Zakopane (where my family is). I have been there a few times but only for a little more than a week. I live near no airports so it is hard to get away for the weekend.
