wonka 1 | 16 3 Jul 2008 / #1czesc,I'm Polish and by boyfriend is English. I've been living and working here for four years and thinking about moving back to Warsaw. My bf isn't that keen on the idea due to the possible difficulty of finding a job (he's only just started to learn Polish in January) etc. How did you find the whole experience of finding a job as non Polish speakers. Thanks for any suggestions!

masks98 27 | 289 5 Jul 2008 / #8Back in New York my girlfriend told me that I could teach english in Poland. I thought the idea of teaching english without knowing Polish would make me look like a fraud. But I was proved wrong pretty fast. In fact it helped me narrow the pool of potential students down to business professionals who already spoke english and who pay more:)
OP wonka 1 | 16 7 Jul 2008 / #9It can definitely happen. I was one of those muppets paying a lot of money to have lessons with a native speaker!! only joking, great fun and got loads from it. Professional students are in fact better. Well done you!
