By any chance, has anyone ever heard of a tax course available to ex-pats giving an introduction to taxation in poland? I would really like to get an idea as to how thinigs work for self-employed, employed and those with rental income. I have managed to be all three...

I have asked my accountant to clarify things but it is very hard to get a straight answer.

I have not heard of any, but a few points:

1.) get a better accountant
2.) Download the E&Y reports, which will give you a good high-level view of the tax situation for personal income and rental income:

3.) See point no. 1
