I am working on a book on Modjeska Canyon. It is a very small area of Southern California, here in the states that was once home to Helena Modjeska. I would like to find out what some people there in Poland would think about a book over there, about the area of Modjeska Canyon? The book would be about the entire canyon area, but would obviously have an entire Chapter dedicated to Helene Modjeska.
I am working with a publisher and am just starting my research. It will be in a series of books called, "Images of America" by Arcadia Publishing. It is all photos with captions of what the photo contains. It would contain approx. 30 images directly related to Modjeska.
From a marketing point of view, would it go over well in Krackow or all over Poland for that matter? It would sell for about $20.00 dollars US. Would it be best to have it translated or would it go over good in English?
Thanks,
John
