Are holidays to Florida popular in Poland.

I know that in England the trip is very popular and I am planning a trip there. I am wondering if to book it in poland or to book in england and budget airline to england first. Any thoughts, anyone had such a holiday from poland and how much did they pay?

Thanks

Most people I know who visit the US for a holiday only do so if they have family or friends there.

You might find a direct flight from Berlin, Germany.

I don't think that there's a direct flight to Orlando or Miami from Poland.

Where / when are you thinking of going?

No... Especially that Yanks demand visas from Poles and transatlantic flights are still expensive. Popular places for foreign vacations are Mediterranean and Black Sea areas.

My Polish friends are visiting places like South East Asia and South America although Cape Verde has been a popular destination over the past year or so.

They took some delight in pointing out to me that it is cheaper to spend two weeks in Sardinia than two weeks in Karwia

book in england and budget airline to england first.

This is an option they are taking. Or from Germany as Wroc suggests

I've got my Florida holiday already booked for next year... 2 Weeks in June. Mine has cost me £1439 for two people, 2 weeks, and an extra £60 for airport transfer with "going places."

June.

June?
Hope you like the heat. You can't even cool down in the ocean, feels like bath tub water!

Where are you going? I love Miami - total party city, with plenty of fab shopping. Ybor City (near Tampa) is also fun if you live live music.

I really didn't enjoy Orlando - found it pretty naff to be honest, and full of sunburnt Brits. Also managed to avoid the Disney parks.

I love the heat but I also love to cool down :) I've been to hotter places than what Florida is at that time of year.

I'll be staying at the Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive. Not far from the disney parks. It'll be a great holiday, unfortunately it's 10 months away... tut :(

My family have been and they thought it was the best holiday that they had ever been to. I'm going to be looking at the prices of renting a car so I can drive to the beaches etc.

American women fall in LOVE with the English accents so that'll be good too O.O

Lots to do in Orlando, that's for sure. You should check out the MGM and Universal Studios apart from Epcot and Disney World. Sea World is awesome too. Lots of good restaurants, T-shirts, shells, gift stores everywhere. Your hotel should have a pool, it's one of the nicer hotels there. To rent a car you should start checking a month or so before you get there to get the best deal. I like dealing with Enterprise, Budget or Payless are good too, but depending on the promotions they have you can check them out on the internet.

My hotel has 3 swimming pools, 2 of which are heated, not that they'll need heating at that time of year lol. Don't you worry I'll be going everywhere and doing EVERYTHING. How much did you pay for your car insurance? I know UK car insurance is invalid in the U.S.

You can even play with guns at Reigs's gun store (I'm sure that you can find all the info if you google)... once spent an afternoon firing Glock 9mm and Magnum 40s alongside a dad teaching his 12 year old kid to shoot.

I don't have to pay because my insurance extends to rental cars, but you can purchase insurance from them. You have to contact them personally because rates vary from place to place.
