MasterNateDawg 3 | 50 24 Jul 2007 / #1My friend here in poland is interested in going to the usa for a year to work any job, to experience the life style. Does anyone have any useful information on work visas or websites so i can help her come to the states...
Zgubiony 15 | 1,554 24 Jul 2007 / #2Try here:h1base.com/page.asp?id=7It's tough. You may need an immigration lawyer too.usaimmigrationlaw.comNot everyone can come here to work. Mostly nurses, doctors.... Don't you have a company to sponsor her?May be easier to come to school here.
Ranj 21 | 948 24 Jul 2007 / #3MND....wuzzup? Don't think at this point it's very easy to get a regular visitors visa, let alone a work visa.....I know she would need someone to sponsor her to come here if it was just to visit......I'd check with the US Dept. Of State and read up on what is needed for a visa....good luck to your friend.....btw, I'll be in Poland in 10 days and cannot wait....woohoo!

Zgubiony 15 | 1,554 27 Jul 2007 / #7You're the business owner. Do the research :) I think you may need the assistance of an immigration lawyer though.

OP MasterNateDawg 3 | 50 28 Jul 2007 / #11How old is she? What is her education? What kind of job is she interested in ?What city does she prefer? Are you in the US ? Can you sponsor her?oh my bad...20 years old still in college, language student. And no specific job. Just to come work, and in arizona, phoenix.
Zgubiony 15 | 1,554 28 Jul 2007 / #12If she's a student, then a tourist visa would be a better suggestion. IMO. In order to get a job she'll need at least a masters degree.
witek7205 1 | 65 29 Jul 2007 / #13She has no chance to get any professional job in the USA.1. She can apply for a tourist visa and stay with you, but you must give her money to stay. And no work of course.2. Read this: cetpoland.pl/en/wat.htmland find more about work & travel program in Google.Another address which I know is guliwer.com.pl (in Polish).Be careful because some companies take money and offer nothing. She must find opinion of other people about that company before paying any money.
percy1 25 Mar 2008 / #14I would be interest in a polish person, female to visit and help me in running our Bed and Breakfast near Philadelphia, Pa. My mother was Polish decent and both my grandparents were Polish. I have sponsored Polish refuges during Solidarity. My mother's maiden name was Jablonski. She died at 98 in June 2007. How do I find someone who wants to work and or also go to college that would like to work in a small Bed and Breakfast. 6 Rooms and convenient to transportation. Lovely area.
