New USA visa regulations

New regulations are in effect for Poles receieving US visa. They Now have to take 10 fingerprints which are sent to the US for a back-ground check as a precaution. This will only delay the visa's slightly. Many Poles don't mind this procedure as long as they're getting one. While other are complaining that instead of abolishing the visas all together and trusting the Poles, the US are adding more security...

Hmmmm...wonder why...maybe if they would return on time when their visas expire?

It's a thoughtless political move to me. After PO/Tusk won the elections in Poland, the new Polish government is not so happy to talk about close friendship with the US. But by this move the US is shooting themselves in a foot - if not Poland to be friend in Europe, then who?

By showing their muscles the US government won't find happy partners. As I wrote before, soon they will be sending free invitations to Poles when they realize they are the best workers/money spenders/entrepreneurs they can get out there.

I bet you were staying illegal in the US so no need to spread bs around. You were deported and it's fully understandable. Should have went back to Poland in time.

Maybe instead of being afraid of Poles, maybe we should put a fence up on our south, what a double standard!!

Hey guys just go to Mexico and come across near tx, there will be a super Hwy there soon, built by a mexican firm who is represented by our distinguised Rudy Guliani, who might I add is running for the republican nomination.

HMMMMM>>

This super hwy is to let trucks from Mexico into US for fre trade and it will go all the way to Canada. Think illegals will be easier to get in??

Is unbelievable, and actually since our money is worth so much less, ya'll ought to find a better placve to go, we may be a third world nation soon if this keeps up, we can not continue to take these millions of illegals and think it won't affect our bottom line.

What is wrong with that? Everybody who visited Poland had to have a visa and pay money for every day of your stay in Poland. The Poles must have made a fortune out of poor travelers.

That's true. I was there in April in 1991, I needed a visa. The next day they cancelled them.

I think with England it was a 'tit for tat' situation because Margaret Thatcher said that the Poles must have visas when for instance at the same time historically, the Czechs could come here and stay and work for two years on an au pair visa.

If your famous around the world, shouldn't your story be making headlines by now?

I really doubt the US would be kicking a world famous physicist out of the country. In fact, I know of other not-so world famous colleagues in engineering research who were granted permission to stay in the country permanently solely because of what their minds had to offer.
