I love the Blues...I am from the South(Louisiana) originally...I was wanting someone to go to the Blues fest with me...send me a private message and let me know when you're going. So much to see here in Chicago

I went last night to see B.B. King and was totally dissapointed, he kept stopping
in the middle of his songs to talk about the Democratic party.
I came to a music festival not a political rally!
About every 5 minutes theres some Black person asking me for money or a
cigarette, beer whatever they can try to get off you.

but tuesday's just as bad... gotta love the blues. Nothing like it under the sun.

There was a Polish Blues band playing somewhere off of Belmont the other week...a friend told me...this I needed to see

Theres alot of Blues clubs on the Northside that are good :)

Let me know when you want to go hear some blues, ok? Chicago has alot of blues...but their blues is a little different than where i come from in the south...

No, I am here in Chicago. I was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to Texas after college. All of my family is in Louisiana. I just moved to Chicago from Texas because of a job offer I could NOT refuse, lol

I just left the Taste of Poland. I had a good time, but it was warm out there...it probably didn't help that I was eating and drinking, but I had a good time.

I heard about this...it really got to me. Seems she had just performed not that long ago. She is going to be missed.

I prefer the Chicago Jazz Fest which will start on Sept. 4th thru the 6th. (All the Grant Park fests are good). If you see a slightly older gentleman wearing a fine straw hat and puffing on a premium cigar walking with a lady 30 years younger - well, that would be me.

We should meet up...I would like to go. You know being from Louisiana originally and living in Texas for awhile before moving here to Chicago...I want to hear the difference between Chicago Jazz and New Orleans Jazz. I can tell you this much...there's a big difference in Delta Blues and Chicago Blues.
