yes i agree.i prefer to stay at home with a pack of friends.don't get me wrong i do go out but not too often.i don't like noisy pubs i prefer restaurants(good food ect).

I am the same- but I don't say it often as some people give me strange look. It seems to be cool to go out here as much as possible otherwise you are "boring" not cool.

There is one thing I don understand- Why if people don't dance music in some pubs is so loud that everyone has to shout all the time???? What is the logic of it??????

I completely understand what you are saying - I think it's meant to creat a vibrant atmosphere! as a posed to being irritating and giving you a headache!

So it seems that I'm the only one of a Polish descent from this forum who likes to go out more often? Strange.
But still, house parties rock!

I think that in the end of the day- everyone is different and have different temperament doesn't much matter nationality.
I have polish friend- girl she likes going out a lot.

I liked going out when I was in my 20 -ties.
Now in my 30-ies I like to go for a drink to nice pub, for a meal.....- hate loud pubs with music on the full.

I mean I would like it if we were dancing .

What is it about English? I have impression that they don't like dancing? embarassment ?

I'll dance in a club, but Im not going to get up dancing my local - it's usually the drunkards that do that.....

I enjoying going out - but I like Iwona dont go out as much these days - I find it more to do with Money - it costs about £70.00 for a good night out - and I feel that, that is a lot of money I cant justify doing it every week

I agree with you. I suppose it like someone's priority to spend money.

About 2 weeks ago we spent quite much money with my husband's friends from London. It was really good night I don't remember when I had last time so much laugh but I couldn't do it all tle time just too expensive.

For me personally I would probbaly save some money and go someone for a week that just spend on nights out only.

I don't know about the dancing .....my generation in Poland liked dancing but I dont know maybe it has changed now.

Do the English ...Irish...need a bad name...........???........:(........endless repetitive posts........usually in the negative........................once again...are 160000 Polish people in Ireland ALL wrong.........or 600000 Polish people in England wrong...............?

Learn the lingo, get info, organise your network before leaving, when you get there USE the people already there to pick there brains and as I keep saying if you enter an industry were there may be abuse/exploitation.......join a Union, you subs are just as welcome as everyone elses.......:)

After all the working class in England, have been exploited for centuries...just remeber there is NOTHING new in the world...it repeats variations of its problems endlessly...!!.............don't kid yourselves the old class divisions are alive and well in the UK!

So much prejudice and ignorance on this board........its breathtaking.......................and dissappointing!

Eddien, try to constructively debate your objections to immigration.

Posts such as this serve to do nothing more than discredit those who wish to talk seriously about this subject.

Polish people should be allowed into the UK, but it should be controlled as opposed to a free for all.

The Poles are doing what any of us would do if we lived in a country with such high unemployment and poor prospects for young people.

Your criticism should be directed at our government who have mismanaged their introduction to our workforce.

Well I think foreigners are not really welcomed anywhere, why should they? They just come, work, earn, they dont need to be welcomed, they never were anyway.

Yes, by addressing someones comments you can do far more to tackle their ignorance. Your response to Eddiens non-sensical ramblings merely makes you look just as foolish (well, not quite) as him.

If the Poles stop coming here then they wont be exploited...we dont want them here but as long as they are here we will exploit them

Just who is this "we" that you are referring to?

Polish people are (for the most part from what I can gather) aware of what waits for them in the UK. They aren't being exploited, the choice is entirely theirs as to whether they accept the wage that is offered, much like any other potential employee (be they Polish, English or anything else!)

Are you English?

The majority of English people that I have spoken to object to the massive numbers that have arrived and the lack of control or management of their introduction to our workforce, NOT to the fact that Polish people have come to the UK to work.

This post is getting out of hand...I don't mind a heated arguement but not they way things are going here...I have no problem people having a go at poles living in gb and taking jobs etc....I repeat my previous comments that the poles have done nothing wrong in working in the UK, or the way they spend there money, or how they live..I could only make an observation in stating... How would poles react if there town ie Zamosc was invaded by people arrivng by the bus loads every day seeking work...lurking around the streets, living in large groups etc...I personallyn would hate to see Rumanians coming to poland, let alone Indians/pakis/turks

Where's Wujek when you need him.
He'd either put a stop to this or it would get even worse.

I noticed Wujek needs to only make 4 posts to have a round 1000! :) Maybe someone else's going to take him over :).
