Hi everyone,

I'm a student at Leeds University and I'm doing some research on migration between Poland and the UK. I've heard lots of British people's thoughts on the subject, but I'd like to get some Polish points of view. If you could reply or message me, it would be very much appreciated.

What made you decide to come to the UK?
Is/was the UK what you expected?
What reactions did you get from people?
Have you had problems in the area that you live?
Have you thought about going back to Poland? Why?

Thank you! x

Decision was make straight soon after job offer, first think was :new normal life for my family.
I knew that can't be so easy at the beginig so i prepared myself for the worst.
People seem very polite and helpful (it was Indian area of WestLondon-Southall, very dirty s***hole), maybe they are so polite because all are immigrants and mostly illegal, I used to lived in thier houses and I herad some stories about friends of friends.

NO I don't even think about return to Poland, reason -I have obtain more here in just 3 years then in Poland for 10 years.

If you have any more question about Poorland don't hesitate to write.
Any opinion about polish immigrants are welcome.
