Polish people on North of England?

Hi all, jsut wondering if any of the polish people on this forum are living in the north of England?

I was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and raised in Stockton-on-Tees. Does that count ?

My manager just moved to Newcastle as he found job there. I think he was little worrying about understanding people .

Most regions in the UK have words and phrases that confuse foreigners.

Another problem with North-East folk is that they seem to have invented their own grammar.

Yeah, I lived up in Sunderland and Newcastle for a few years - I couldn't understand a bloody word. I ended up interpreting between a Geordie lad and a scouse bird one weekend in Liverpool, that was fun.

Size of England is probbaly similar to Poland. We have different accents in different regions but in general we understand each other. But here.. Liverpool, Newcastle, ...what about Scotland, Wales....

What am I to say "poor foreigner" as you don't always understand each other .:)

There are some beautiful polish ladies where i live in the north, SALFORD. Very nice to talk to and even nicer to look at. i just wish i had the courage to ask one of them out. because of the culture difference i dont know if they would show any intrest in english men.
