Fiendish. Unfortunately non-immigration is in the queue ahead of you and so are all his mates - which makes you number three in the queue. Be patient in it.

And they get double the money if they're gay or limbless. Shocking. We're much better off buying a Trident or two

WE TAXPAYERS

how about you`d say: `those bloody polish tax payers pay taxes in MY country so they can get something in return and learn MY language?`

Therefore coming out of tax paid and things like this dont help people's feelings towards immigrants - even the most tolerant get a wee bit pushed off when tax has just increased for those poorest and council tax went up on average by 7%..and all the while the government is squandering money!

how about you`d say: `those bloody polish tax payers pay taxes in MY country so they can get something in return and learn MY language?`

How about I say, if you chose to come and live and work in a country, learn the language...why the fek should we provide you with free lessons? I think that those Polish tax payers get paid a better wage than they would in Poland and those with kids get child benefit.... would you expect something for free in Poland just because you paid your tax?

of, fair enough LOL

fair enough. What are you gonna do about it then? It is hard to belive that the rise in taxes anywhere is due to higher spending on language schools IMO.

I very much doubt that too, but it doesnt help public feeling when you're £££ down on last year because of increase in bills and tax (council tax rise circa. 7%, gas circa. 10%, water rates circa. 15%, electric circa. 10% - it all adds up)...and as a national you get nothing extra for working your a$$ off and if you do fall on hard times, forget it, you are right at the back of the cue.....yet you see people come in to the country get free housing, free language class and benefits galor...

And M, please dont think Im aiming this specifically at Polish people because Im not, it's aimed at anyone that's getting freebies, whilst I have to work hard and get only what I work for and I dont expect something for nothing.

Yes I know that it's a political thing and the forum isnt the place to discuss this, but I just wanted to answer you question.

we have FREE vocational courses offered by our jobcentre in my hometown of gliwice, those are offered even to people who never paid taxes before. that`s how my best friend got a good job in administration in the city`s court.

btw, the members of your government like to drink a lot in the houses of parliament so you can`t be surprised of the decisions they make since they`re drunk most of the time :)

If you had to sit through that c**P day in day out you'd turn to drink too. Good prices in the House of Commons bar though. Cheaper than for the masses in the surrounding boozers

Carefull when you get to uptight about these sort of posts, the far right has a nasty habit of running black propaganda like this.

I know that... but since I've paid more tax than most I thought I'd get a few cheap drinks for it...

eeerr you asked me a question:

would you expect something for free in Poland just because you paid your tax?

i answered by saying:

we have FREE vocational courses (...)

------------------------------------------------------------------

if you want to complain about free language courses offered to foreigners, about the amount of immigrantsetc, go complain to your MP. it`s easy to blame immigrants but think hard: would you turn your back away from something positive that was being given to you for free?

Whatever, I would suggest you take full advantage of it, after all it is FREE! Maybe I'll inquire whilst in Spain if the government would consider running FREE Spanish classes for us ignorant English...

Yes I know that it's a political thing and the forum isn't the place to discuss this, but I just wanted to answer you question.

Read things a little bit clearer!

Who ever created this topic is talking through their arse

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/7170125.stm

And here is the answer to that chap who asked about FREE Polish lessons

Advanced courses do exist, but only if you go to Poland itself (from experience) There is an excellent school in Sopot that teaches Polish as a foreign language to English speaking people.(its expensive but well worth it)
