I hear again and again from some gays here that Poles get free housing in the UK. In a few months I'm going to the UK to work as a dog breeder, how may I get free housing ?

Its possible they will let you sleep with the dogs, if you ask nicely and promise to clean the toilets. Which house, I have more than 1?

No problema. Get a job in a Hotel and you will get accommodation free.
Plenty seasonal work in Scotland - chodz.

Plenty of room for dog breeders here.

Poles are getting free housing and, in certain places, free English lessons. It was on TVN Polish news today. Great, I hope this will encourage integration and further cooperation

Are you going to train the dogs to catch the swans you're going to eat?

Poles don't need free houses, if you gave them a free one they would miss shacking up 10 to a single room and that would spoil their fun :):):):)

lol. i know about 6 Poles and a one poor British guy living together in a 3 bedroom flat. i live by myself (well the landlord hangs around here too) and i would not wanna share with anyone even if it meant i paid next to nothing for rent. you gotta have some privacy for gods sake!

i used to live like this for 8 months when i first came here and its a total nightmare. there was never enough of hot water for everyone to take a bloody shower, and as the lot i lived with was all related to each other, i was the last person in line to do anything. couldnt even put anything in the fridge-freezer i have shared the money to buy just because they put their shopping in there first. bunch of tossers.

wow sounds dodgy to me, i went to bording school with a house full of kids, never had that kind of problem, we were drilled like soldiers. As far as property and food were conserned, you defended what you had to the death, lol. :)

As for living arrangments usually the people i have lived with afterwards have been people i knew previous to the move so there was never any problem there. Plus i can't imagine sharing a room with four other people after the age of 16!!

they are just dodgy people thats all. that British guy living with them (he's one of the girls boyfriend) is in the exact same situation as i was, absolutely no rights in the house even though he shares rent and bills. they must have priority, if they dont get it they will fight for it. they invited their parents to stay with them for 2 WEEKS and you think they even asked him if it was ok? pffft lol. poor guy.

Of course all Poles have free housing. Just pay your rent every month and you can live in your room for free for the rest of the period. Furthermore, I got myself a free car from the British Government, just had to pay several grand to the dealer, a grand to the insurer, £63 of road tax and POOF - the wee baby is all mine - FREE.

grzegorz the way it works is you join like a type of agency and then a company contracts you in to their organisation and they agency you are with supply you with a place to stay.

Nothing is ever free unless you're an asylum seeker but if you want free accomodation then look into working at a hotel that offers you it. Make sure you don't get sacked though or you're on the streets

More common is paying 50 quid a week for a ramshackle property. In Aberdeen, some of the properties for 45 quid a week were ghastly but it was a roof over ur head.

In the southeast, £50 per week won't get you much. I pay hundreds of pounds a month in mortgage payments, taxes and bills. If you rent anywhere on your own or as a couple or whatever, you'll be paying these bills and taxes and probably someone else's mortgage on that property.

Yeah, u get stung these days for doing nowt wrong. I'm glad to say that I'm thrifty. After leading a rather lavish life, I decided to monitor more carefully. No chance of free housing here although 750zł a month all in is super

Isn't it the same Gregorz who practically declared a war on all Britts and everything British who's now moving to the UK looking for Government subsidized housing? Does anyone else find it a bit ironic besides me? lol

Grzegorz, IMO you should stick to your guns and stay home waving a Polish flag and singing the Polish National Anthem! lol
