I agree i hate terrorists to, but slinging around dumb comments like the one you did just futher perpetuates thier cause and anyone who reads its feeling towards thier cause especialy when they are the ones who were done wrong to begin with...

I'm 22 years old and I have a deep hatred of terrorists.

Then why don't you concentrate on the terrorists of today rather than making reference to the actions of 1689.

1689????

You only need to go back to the 90s matey! The IRA bombings in Manchester in 1996 is one example...

Now drop it...

Now drop it...

When I'm ready to.

Your 'No Surrender' slogan relates to the Siege of Derry in 1689.

Justifying terrorism, justifying the killings of innocent men, women and children who had no indication of what was going off stoops just as low. By saying the IRA are not a bad organisation is a below-the-belt remark.

When you were still in white socks.

Perhaps.

and can you justify the rape and murder of innocent woman and children by the hands of english soldiers and freed prisoners for that very perpose. i suggest you read your history books son cos what happend was terrible though i cant justiy the acts of the IRA i can honestly say they are no more than a reaction to the unjust treatment they were subjected to......

honestly with out this turning into a petty argument please read up on the history..
then come back to me and tell me i am wrong.

What has that got to do with the IRA? I sang a song on the first page regarding the IRA therefore the topic is of the IRA. People here got offensive because of the IRA bashing song. The IRA is a terrorist organisation who killed innocent people for their political gain. Whatever opinion you have of SOME English soldiers that allegedly raped and murdered innocent women then feel free to voice your opinion and I'd no doubt agree with you. My dad certainly did not rape anyone or even murder women.

The majority of Northern Irish WANT to be British.

What do you mean "what has this got to do with the IRA" do you even know why they IRA was formed ?

I'm not talking about the history of the IRA. I'm talking of the ACTIONS of the IRA. WHY they're deemed TERRORISTS. Killing innocent people all for "Independence." Let them burn in hell ;)

With all due respect the IRA are-were Terrorists, there is no doubting that. It dosen't take a rocket scientist to recognise that and anybody who doubts that is either stupid or a sympathiser to the so called 'cause'.

wow you almost sound like a PIRA preacher, spreading your filth and blaiming the UK as usual, if you want things sorted out you should have tried politically before bringing innocent civi's into it with your nail bombs and pointless free for all shootings of school children.

I don't need to learn history to distinguish who's a terrorist.

im not doubting that but dont you think the world has to wake up and ask its self why the f&ck are there terrorists and who's provoking them?
tornado2007  11 | 2270
8 Mar 2008 /  #50
thats a very good and valid point, however some terrorists do not need provoking as they are religiously driven

What would have been the solution to IRA terrorism? Would it be to hand Northern Ireland their Independence? Problem sorted. However we would have had a new breed. Protestants who wanted to remain part of the UK...! A no-win situation. Independence is no justification for terrorism.

youtube.com/watch?v=msfxiodoMQQ&feature=related, one of the best videos on Youtube to see the truth, bless this man, RIP

Some believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I'm proud of it." David Rockefeller "Memoirs" 2002, here's where it's at

Answer to terrorism then, bin religion altogether, wipe it from the memories and minds of every person in the world, without religion there may be a chance for peace :):):)

Even though the majority of the people of Northern Ireland want to remain part of the UK? I'm sure we'd have had a much bigger terrorist organisation to contend with had we given Northern Ireland back.

Huh? I never said it SHOULD have been taken. I condemned the actions of the IRA. It should been dealt with POLITICALLY not through bloodshed.
