Where can I buy DVDs in Polish language near Glasgow?

Preferably somewhere near or in Glasgow. I've tried HMV, Virgin or Zavvi as it now seems to be called, and there are very few films released that have Polish language option or subtitles.

I've Polish friends coming to visit over Christmas and there will be a few Polish kids, so also looking for Children's films in Polish too.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
G

Did you try any Polish shops? I can't remember if our local one sells DVDs or not but I am sure some of them do.

Hi PD. There's a few Polish Deli's near me in the centre, but although they do a fine line in kiełbasa no DVD's unfortunately. I'll keep looking, maybe ebay or gumtree will have something?

That's unfortunate. I suppose gumtree or ebay, yes.

Nothing on ebay at the moment- and I'd forgotten, gumtree is full of freaks and timewasters! ahhhh.

If you have any Polish friends they will be able to download you a selection.

I think that you can buy them in some polish internet shops in uk. I found one:

It's not that great a site if you don't speak Polish and it's a bit of a jumble of English and Polish.

Not a great choice of titles, but thanks anyway. I'll keep looking. Surely there must be a market for this in Glasgow, or do you all just download them from the Net? G.

I suppose people :
-download them frominternet,
-bring from Poland
- or buy in internet shops.

I don't think if there are many shops with good dvd choice except in London.

The best way is to buy at merlin.pl (or other online shops) choose a gift-wrap option and indicate the delivery address of your friends in Poland (then ask them not to open, but to bring those gifts to England and open there :)

You can always indicate your own delivery address in UK, it's a bit more expensive, but not a fortune.

I'm not sure if you can search merlin.pl with original titles though, in worst case you'd have to search for directors'/main actors' name
