Just saw this on the news....how can a land of such greatness, plummet to such depths?

As long as you have a job, are well off, pretty or have influence........great.....otherwise be afraid, very afraid.

A mother who murdered her disabled daughter and killed herself by setting fire to their car had been tormented by youths who mocked her child's severe learning disabilities.

When I do the school run it includes a school for children with learning difficulties. This includes children such as the girl in the article. Passers-by take no notice.

I've never seen a child tormented, here in Poland, because of their condition. This doesn't mean that children don't give other children grief. They obviously do sometimes.

W, have you had a sex change....cuda swore the last time I saw you, you weren't wearing a fancy hat!!

I find it very distressing that their are areas of UK where the laws of the jungle still apply...:(

After reading the article. I'm so fcuking angry. There are levels that people can drop to, but surely not that fcuking low.

Don't you recognize her ?

There's a new boy at work. He is not very intelligent.
He can't add up or multiply.
He doesn't know where Poland is. I told him it's between Germany and Russia. 'I don't know where vey are eivver.'
But apparently, it is cool to be stupid.

How many kinds of stupidity are supposed to be cool?

A land of milk and honey would surely be rather geologically unstable.
I have milk and honey in my kitchen, but that doesn't make it a land of milk and honey.
Luckily, I don't have flies in my kitchen.

Not all of this country is as unpleasant as these terrible cases might suggest.
It does highlight some of the problems we face.

It's from a period film she did about eight years ago.

I understand. Problem is... the guy who mistreated the woman comes from my part of the world. And it was sickening to read.

Yes, but that was a second incident of social and criminal abuse of a person with a disability, I sometimes wonder if things in a number of "primitve" parts of the UK are regressing rather than progressing!...:(

Then again, its the same the world over!

Because in this pansy ass. Brady Bunch country.
Youths have NO FEAR of the law.
NO Fear of punishment.
And consequently NO Respect.

They have been allowed to run wild likes packs of animals without fear of Reprisal.
Our Nanny state decides its Inhuman to punish them. Incase it turns them into bad people.

WTF Are they NOW.??????

They think they should be Nurtured.. Tutored, And Understood.

They shoud have there asses Kicked.. ( Swear word deleted)

Even NOW.
There is an ongoing case. Where youths Murdered a Young lad.
A couple of months after slashing him with a knife. For trying to defend his family.
The Police failure to respond correctly. ( Bc they had no evidence.)

Apparently the guy seeing him slash him. Isnt Proof.

And the Bloke who was Kicked to death in warrington.
Just bc he asked some drunken lads to stop sitting on his car.....

( Shakes head )

It does seem, from news reports, that things are going backwards in some areas of the UK.
However, when I was in the north east recently, it seemed that social conditions had improved and the mentality of the youth hadn't.
