Hi,

I'm going to England for summer and to work obviously ;-)
But in September I would like to visit my host family in US. But the time matters to me extremely. And I was wondering if I could apply for a visa from England( in order to save some time). Does such possibility even exist ???

If anyone has some credible information, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi,
My wife was granted a tourist visa by the US Embassy in London but that was in 2002. Although I can't see that you would have any problem in applying in the UK it might be worth dropping them an email to check beforehand to save any possible aggro when you get here.

All the best for your visit.

No, you can't apply in England unless you can show that you have any connection to England. i.e. your family live in England etc.

If you can't, you can be send to US embassy in Poland to apply.
It really depends on immigration officer.
