Zieleniec......what a great time

I wonder if anyone has visited Zieleniec?

I was there some years ago with a language school trip, and the family and I headed there for the half term break. It was so great, I found some agroturistic accomodation, and contacted the ski skool which I remembered, all on the internet of course.

We took the bus from Victoria to WRoclaw ( full of v cheerful people heading home it seemed) well, apart from that it broke down outside Blackheath (hahaha), it was fine.

The skiing was amazing,the mountains beautiful, the food lovely, the people welcoming. What more can I say?

We also visited the kids babcia in a town near Kosztryn,(sp?) linguistically demanding you might say.

no, i haven't, but it must be very green there...

Ive been spending a fair amount of time in Zieleniec lately. Ive been down around four times over the past couple of weeks. Mainly just hanging around the board park, theyve recently put in two new chair lifts.

Snow was great there around a week ago i thinks its going to melt quite fast now though. They also have English speaking snowboard instructors if anybodies interested.

Oh we were just hanging around the bit by the church....skiing up and down the easy bits....it was great!!!

if you saw some dude falling all over the place trying 360's off the kicker to the right of the drag lift, that would have probably been me. I'll probably go for some more pain this week. Its a great resort for learning the basics, some half decent red runs up the top.

I was extremely surprised to see that they have a 5, 10 and 15 meter kicker of the first drag onloy open on weekends. Nobody was hitting the 15 meter jump, its a real back braker.
