Wejherowo - what is it like?

Could someone tell me something about Wejherowo, or post some pictures of the area? I have friends who live there now, and was wondering how different it is there compared to Gdynia where they lived before.

Google for pictures but there isnt a great deal to see there. Loads of new residential development built by a company who didnt do their sums right but arent too bothered because theyre crooks anyway. It's nothing to write home about other than to moan that you have to live there. Theres a couple of forum members who live there and escape as often as possible. I own property there but wouldn't dream of actually settling for any length of time in the place

Hi...I live in Tricity and had "luck" to see Wejherowo...Horrible traffic in the morning toward Gdynia and again after 3PM...

I drove through Wejherowo while going to Hel during summer vacation last year. I must say they could do with better, wider roads. The traffic jam in the town and along the Hel Peninsula cost us about 45 minutes on the distance of about 15 km.

Hey, instead of going to Wejherowo, why dont you just go to Gdansk?! I was there only a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. I rented a property with my wife, who is polish. Ill give you some details of where we went anyway!

We booked our holiday with a site called holistay.com/poland and stayed in a nice apartment just off the old town district. Would recommend this site to anyone.

Also, the official Gdansk site is really good, lots of information which you may find useful. gdansk.pl/en/ If this is not enough there is always this site gdansk-life.com which informs you on the more cultural side of the goings on in the city. Whatever you do, hope you have fun! Cheers x.
