Hi,
We are trying to plan a short trip to Krakow from Warsaw. can someone tell me-

1) How much are the train tickets costs?. Can we book them online? Or do we have to go to the station and purchase.

2) How long is the trip, are there any express trains we should look for?

3) What are some good hotels to stay in Karakow?

Will appreciate your feedback.
Thanks.

The link posted above is your best bet for travel info - its only 3 hrs i think, and goes a bit quicker if you stock up with booze in the restaurant car on the way. Polish trains don't exactly gun it like British trains too...ambling along at a nice 60mph is probably the best you can hope for a lot of the time.

As for Krakow accommodation, i've been there 5 or 6 times and stayed in apartments every time. Google "Krakow apartments" and you'll find plenty of places available. Much more freedom to do it that way i reckon. Saying that, if your heart is set on a hotel, i'm sure all the big names are in the city now.

I have also found these travel guides helpful... I had the same question yesterday, how long Warsaw to K-town. 3 hours+/- 15 min on the ICC.
