Just over the river in Podgorze is a cracking little eatery, basicaly, head over the main bridge,go through the main square till you find a parralel main road and turn right. As long as you dont have problems eating slap bang in the middle of the old wartime jewish ghetto. Most tourists stay on the other ide of the river in the old market area or kazimerze(sp),also on the Podgorze side is a lovely hill side park,do a little exploring and you will find some really lovely old houses, one in particular sticks in my mind, all wooden and very ornate.

ps, some may be taking the mick suggesting Nowa huta as this place has a reputation for being a very rough neighbourhood, its fine during the day or when there isnt a soccer match on .
