My wife & I are staying in Berlin til 5 September and want to extend visit by a trip along the Baltic Coast so that we get to Gdansk in time to get a plane home on 10 September for our eldest daughter's graduation the next day(may seem too much information but see end of post). We will be using buses/trains.

Suggestions please on

1)places to stop and things to see along the way - we were thinking of Wolin National Park and Slowinski National Park

2) any recommendations on accommodation(budget & laid back!)

3) best way of travelling

As the final bit (relating to daughter's graduation) we saw something about Wizzair cancelling planes at short notice - at the moment we're tossing up between an early morning Ryaniar flight on 10 September and an evening Wizzair. We have to get back for the graduation so the question on Wizzair & cancellation as we couldn't take a chance on coming back on next day!!

Thanks!!

With the way things are at the moment you may want to get a flight a couple of days earlier as they do cancel them at short notice.

Is that just Wizzair or Ryanair as well?

If so we may stay close enough to get back to Berlin!

Any airline. They cancel at the last moment. Don't take the chance to get the last minute flight home. Not in this climate.
