Merged: Polish Hostels in Warsaw..Good idea or bad!?!
Howdy peeps!!!
I've been in Poland for a year now..mainly living in small towns around the Warsaw area!...Great times!!
I want to move into Warsaw now..and its pretty difficult to get around..organise meetings..flat viewings (I have a full time job!) and so on..so I have decided to stay in a Hostel, for one month, somewhere in the center of Warsaw!!...
So basically my questions are....Good idea?...bad idea??...safe??Anyone with experiences/reccomendations?? ...costings for a month?....or alternatives..
Any help will/would be greatfully appreciated
Cheers dudes/dudettes!

Hi Imran,
Hostels are a great idea if you find the right one. I recomend New World Street. great ocation and a friendly staff. Most of the friends I have in Warsaw I met through the staff there. It's about 45pln a night. If you are staying for a month they might cut you a deal.
What line of work are you in?

Use hostelworld and look for the best ratings. Also the best hostel I stayed in was in Poland hehe they even made the beds for us.
My brother and his wife stayed at a teacher's hostel in Poland. They both seemed to enjoy their stay there; safe, clean and inexpensive.

My experience with Polish hostels is that they've been the best I've ever been to. Just practice normal precautions (like not leaving valuables lying around.)

I would be totally biased to anwser this because I work in one hostel that is in Warsaw Old Town, but I agree with previous posters.
If you are serching for hostels try terms like "Hostel", "Schronisko", "Schronisko Młodzieżowe" (youth hostel)
