A small number of British Airways flights have been cancelled from our forthcoming Winter 2009 and Summer 2010 schedule.

London Gatwick to Krakow
Customers due to travel to Krakow may:

Rebook onto an alternative British Airways flight to any other BA destination in Europe, subject to availability. Onward travel to their original destination will be at the customers expense

or

Refund the ticket purchased to the original form of payment.

Cancellations for Winter 2009, from 25 October 2009. (The services will resume for Summer 2010.)

Very poor news as that leaves Ryanair (not an option for me ) or Easyjet which the prices are going through the roof.Looks like a long drive for Christmas or a very long time in a coach :-(

Drive it mate, it really isn't that bad, I do it in one go from Poznan to cornwall quite regularly,

Failing that couldn't you get a train to a different airport and fly from there?

Dnz I have driven from Portsmouth to Zawoja.I got to say I was buzzing on redbull and pro plus by the time i got there.

Why not just fly to Warsaw and get the train from there? The train from Warsaw to Krakow is less than three hours.

i think they stopped the gatwick to warsaw flights a while back (now flying from heathrow), another source of annoyance to me.
