Typo in visa / passport entry to Warsaw, Poland

Hi,

I'm flying to Warsaw tonight, was issued Visa on thursday and got my passport in hand on Friday ( yesterday evening ). I noticed there was a slight typo ( mistake ) in my passport number mentioned in the Visa. Instead of E1234567 they typed in F1234567.

I called the Consulate staff just before they closed since I could not go back in time as I have 2 hrs drive to Polish Consulate. The staff said that small error won't be a problem as my photograph and date of birth and name etc are perfect. But I just wanted to be sure as the Consulate is closed for the weekend and i fly to Poland in a few hours.

Any experienced person's insight on this matter is appreciated. Thanks.

i dont have experience in that particular case, but i know Poles and at some point that could well become a problem. Probably best to correct it at some point just to be on the safe side.

I wouldnt worry about that, when i said problem i mean later on down the line, like when visiting a Notary or something. I doubt anybody will even notice on this trip.

It's just 2 weeks vacation trip. I'll visit Poland and Lithuania 1 week each. Then come back to Poland overnight to fly back home. Thanks for your support <3
