Planning On A Trip To Poland

I've had this obsession with Poland for quite some time now (amusing or not, I dunno, it is what it is) so I've planned a summer vacation to Poland as a graduation present (question, what's the legal drinking age in Poland?). So I'm reading the forums, getting a general feel for what I'm going to need to do to prepare myself (besides preparing for the 17 hour plane flight from San Francisco to Warsaw).

Any tips that I can't find on other threads please post (besides obvious sarcastic ones like learn the language, I've been studying it for over a year now)

Heh,
Dzienkuje ^_^

Hello mDarkPoet, And welcome to the Polish forums.

Try for recommendations for Zakopane and for recommendations for Krakow.

It would help if you gave more details, apart from drinking what are your interests :)

Hello, maybe not to late :-)

Hard to be specific, because you weren't, but if you are interested in architecture on this site: skyscrapercity.com in polish sections you will find threads about architecture with nice pictures.

In my opinion it is good to braid vacation with some cultural event, most popular you will find here: eventim.pl/portal/pl/ more here (but on the short term):

cjg.gazeta.pl

PS. If by any chance you will be in Wroclaw and like to use city guide, try here: wrota.wroclaw.pl
