I will be in Milan, Italy for six weeks starting in June. I have weekends free, and have always wanted to visit Poland. Is it possible for me to easily travel from Milan to Poland, and if so, what is the best way? I am an American living in the Middle East, and have never been to Europe, so I really don't know how the trains, airlines, etc operate in the region.
Also, if I can spend a weekend in Poland, where should I go? I'd like to relax, and indulge in the nightlife, so I want to go somewhere to meet people and have fun.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Go to wizzair page there is chip fly from mediolan-bergamo to katowice.
from katowice airport there are buses to katowice and to krakow so u can easlie travel to one of famous polish city from historical and party point of view.
to check buses or rent car at air port to krakow is about 1h by car and to wroclaw about 1,5h
Thanks for the help everyone. So is Krakow the best place to go for a weekend; or am I better off with Warsaw, Poznan, etc?
Krakow is a great place to go, lots of low-cost flight going to it, there's a lot to do in Krakow & the surroundings & if you ever get bored you can rent a car & drive to Prague.
