Please spare the torture for the other passangers!
My mom and dad were driving across Norway, Sweden taking a ship into Poland and they turned out fine! (Except for the one Swedish guy wich were 100% sure we were hiding something since my dad is Polish) -.-

if you are happy to make stops for nappy changes, feeding, then all should be ok

plan your journey first.

You'll need to get a car seat that allows the baby to lie flat but long car journeys aren't recommended - babies spines are still really soft at that age and they get squashed up quite easily. Talk to your health visitor about it. They sleep most of the time at that age though so flying should be a doddle - it's the toddlers that are a nightmare on planes.

Not impossible but you might need a bigger car. ;) Driving would give you the chance to stop here and there if the baby is unsettled but, of course, flying would be quicker.

Talk to your health visitor about it.

Yep. Before you decide on either option definitely take as much advice on board as possible.

Enjoy your holiday and congratulations on the baby news. :)
