Hi. I have been told several times that Whizz air DO have excellent departure and landing time. Infact they often arrive early, so I am told. I havenot travelled with them yet. Where I am parking my car in the UK commented that they often land early?

i went to wroclaw with them in feb .. landed in poland 2omins ahead of schedule and on way back into doncaster landed 10mins ahead of schedule ... depends on the airspace and the the turnaround on a apron (airport technical jargon) to whether a plane can get off the ground earlier .... normally a airline has a 40mins turnaround from landing to taking off again ... and i know what i am talking about here having spent nearly three months studying at the aviation academy in doncaster :D
YES I had simular experience , Central Wings cancelled 3 times tickets that I booked in the last two months, and in 1 case it took 3 months before they paid the money back, in an other case we still wait for the money, so my experience is that it is really NO use to book any flight with Central Wings to Poland !
Looks like they are canceling ALL flights now and will only be a charter airline.
I have a ticket booked from GdaĆsk to Dublin October 22nd. Looks like I will have to make other arrangements and see about getting my money back.
Here's the news link:
Since early October quenched low- costowe call ( cheap) . September 14 to close most of the calls originating from the country - said at a press conference Szymczak .
All regular flights scheduled for September 14 and several calls to 30 September, will be realized Centralwings airplanes.
Passengers who have bought tickets after the suspension of flights , they may get a refund or use the services of LOT.

nice... we also got a text message from CW about cour flight cancelled 17. Sept and we don't know what to do, they do not answer our calls or emails. Anyone has any idea? should we make reservation with any other airlines or they have to contact us before 17. Sept and change it for us? how it works?
thanks
thanks
Leila
I read on their website that flights between 14th- 30th Sept will still be flying but passengers will be taken by LOT (CW's papa company). If they have actually told you it's cancelled then it sounds bad. They once cancelled a flight I was booked on and then sent a follow up message saying it was a mistake and the flight was going after all. No mention at all of what will happen to people who bought tickets for after September though.
Trying to get through on the phone to them is almost impossible, last time I needed to change a ticket I finally got through after 4 days (including trying in the middle of the night)and 4hours before the flight, and forget e-mails, they NEVER reply!
I used them often and regularily had to put up with the sh!t associated with their circus antics. Financial constraints meant that I had to use them. I think it all comes down to that old question of customer service. I'm sorry to say that they really were PISH!

I actually got through to them. I never received any notification that my flight was cancelled for Oct. 22nd. I found out from a friend sending me the link.
Anyway, the customer service rep confirmed that I had no flight. She had no suggestions. I asked about a refund and she said, "Yes." I asked when could I expect it and she hemmed and hawed a bit and said, "Maybe 14 days." I asked for a confirmation number, but she said that the call was monitored "Just in case." And so that was to assure me.
In my hotel when a reservation is cancelled for any reason, we just charge back the card that day. Not sure why it would require 14 days. I am not holding my breath.
I've made other very expensive reservations now with SAS. But I failed to realize I could have used Ryanair. I am using them to fly to Poland, but they were booked up flying from Gdansk to Dublin. However, I could have booked to London and then Dublin..DUH! LOL
