Would like to travel from Warsaw to Jurata by car. What is the best route? How are the highways for Saturday driving? Estimates on how long it will take?

Driving towards seaside at the begining of the weekend is not the best idea...
But if you have to...

I would avoid the main road nr 7 (Warszawa-Gdańsk) becouse then you'll have to pass through the centre of Gdańsk and probably get stucked there for at least an hour.

I would choose the following:
Warszawa-Płońsk (road nr 7 - 60 km), Płońsk - Toruń (road nr 10 - 100 km), the you pass Toruń from the north (by a road that goes from Lubicz - 20 km), then Toruń - Nowe Marzy by road nr 1 (50 km), then you enter a motorway (tol road - you pay sth like 17 zł - 90 km), that changes into Tri-city by-pass (30 km) then after you pass Tri-City you take a road towards Władysławowo (30 km) ant then you are at the base of Hel peninsula where you have only ne road towards Hel trhough Jurata.

I hope it will help you.
You will find probably this connection on google maps.

Best regards

Lukasz

Been there. Stole some sand from the beach. Watched some parachutists drop from the sky. Saw a fake German / American battle. Kids loved it.
