mode101uk 17 Apr 2006 / #1Hi,Have booked up to go to Krakow from 2nd Sept - 12th Sept 2006 and really looking forward to itJust want to know having never been to Poland what kind of weather to expect in September and also are Euro's accepted or am I better taking cash out of atm while there in zloty's?Have booked apartment through 'Apartments in Krakow' and apartment is in Slawkowska Street(think that is the spelling) has anyone stayed here before or know what the area is like?ThanksStephen
Guest 17 Apr 2006 / #2The weather in Krakow in September - I think about 70 F (warm). I'm sure Euro is accepted especially in bigger shopping centers; but it's better to get Zlotys to make sure. Don't know where the Slawkowska St is but if it's a good hotel, I'm sure it's not far away from the city center :).
Orelud 18 Apr 2006 / #3I visited Krakow earlier on this year. Slawkowska street is one of the streets that lead off from the main square so everything you need will be in walking distance. Apart from some museums that you will probably need to get a bus or tram to.Check here. There is a map cracow-life.Im sure you will have an amazing time. Such a great city I cant wait to go back!

tomtank 4 Nov 2006 / #6Merged: just found this sitehi just a quick line or two about this forum/site. i am travelling to Krakow in August 07 and thought i'd do a little research on Poland and Krakow. i can't believe i have been totally adicted to the variuous pages which i have read, well done to everyone.i lok for ward to my trip and using this new tool to make mates both hear in the UK and Poland.
