U can thank Scottish inventors for inventing the modern world with the telephone ;) Oh, and radar too :)

After the telephone, next 700 most important inventions and patents were the works of Nikola Tesla the Serbian genious - most technofriendly man in history. He transformed America, from a mostly agricultural to an industrial state.

Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) was the genius who lit the world, whose discoveries in the field of alternating polyphase current electricity advanced the United States and the rest of the world into the modern industrial era.

Nikola Tesla had 700 patents in the US and Europe. Tesla's discoveries include the Tesla Coil, fluorescent light, wireless transmission of electrical energy, radio, remote control, discovery of cosmic radio waves and use of ionosphere for scientific purposes.

Nikola Tesla designed the first hydro-electric power plant in Niagara Falls. This was the final victory of Tesla's Alternating Current over Edison's Direct Current.

To conclude: Scots started the first industrial revolution, Serbs the second industrial revolution. :)

Wow that's awesome that Polish schools are getting so much recognition. I would like to study music in Poland for graduate school, either vocal performance or just Polish music itself. Anyone have suggestions for the best akademia muzyczna?
