Hi Angela16 :)
New Zealand is a beautiful country and the 2nd most peaceful country in the world!!! If NZ was on the Europe continent you will have the whole of UK, Europe etc wanting to live there, similar to how everyone wants to live in Spain... a place in the sun i guess.
I totally recommend it but you will have to look into the immigration side of things, i hear it could be complicated??
Good Luck :)

A lot of lesbians to boot, LOL. Seriously tho, it's like the Scottish Highlands meets Iceland in some ways I've been told. I'd love 2 visit one day

I agree... I have visited many places...byt New Zealand...it is a paradise!!!!!! The best place in the world to rise the kids :)
I loved New Zealand when I was there. So many different types of scenery and so much culture.
I also agree on the fact that, if it were in Europe, most people would want to live there...it's half the world away and so many people I know from Scotland have worked and lived there at some point (myself included).
As for the peaceful aspect...I am sure, on the big scale of things, it is very peaceful. However I have never seen fights like I have seen on Oxford Terrace in Christchurch every Thursday and Friday night anywhere else in the world. Strangely Saturdays were peaceful enough. However seeing some of the street brawls I was shocked!
In saying that, I would love to go back!
