I'm not grasping at straws, bro. I'm well aware of the absurdity of armed guards "protecting" the kids in today's Poland. Had you seen how the March of the Living was presented on websites a few years ago, you would think the Poles were ready to holocaust any kid with a beenie. Manufactured paranoia. I'm opptimistic that these attitudes are changing.

My post was outside of that discussion, and some might find this sort of thing interesting. Let me get back to my Chinese history. I have presented my points of view on this subject and I don't want to go in circles. I'm disappointed that there is little interest in the Soviet Story, so I'm taking my toys and going home. :)

The trip was not Israeli mind you but American under the Israeli-Polish supervision, because i spoke only English i got the famous pamphlet which basically tells you what to look for in Poland and the teacher told me to look after kids because you dont know what those dirty Polaks might do (actuall words).

Oh yeah the security searched us when we hit the hotels and the same teacher told us with a straight face that some kids cell went missing and we were the only Polish people in the group so they need to check.

And then there was the case of hotel rooms, the trip was staying in 7 rooms, 4 were relatively untouched but 3 others were a sight, some kid crapped into his bed, there was sh*t smeared all over the window, the beds were broken, so were the chairs, all toilets clogged and "NAZI POLAKS" spray painted on the ceiling, tablecloth was rolled and stuffed in one toilet, someone took a dump and smeared doorknobs with it.

It was fun.

This is actually an interesting sentence. It states that Pilsudski was a hero to the Jews because he protected them from the anti-semitic tendencies there were in PL. Nobody doubts the greatness of Pilsudski. It's just a bit double. There was this hero and there was anti-semitism in PL.

I repeat, there are many Poles in the forest of the righteous - this should be proof enough that Israël respects Polish heroes.

Of course that was true but it was more on an individual basis, and I should rephrase my comment to indicate that any help given Jews in Poland was punishable by death, not just sheltering Jews.

I wrote once that i hate Israel for what they're doing to Palestinians but in truth i dont think there's ever been anyone or anything i truly hated, i'm definitely bitter about the false relations between Jews and Poles where Jews show as in the worst possible light and at the same time deny any of their crimes towards Poles.
