Does Lech Kaczynski know that Ronald Reagan used to tell Polish jokes? If you don't believe me google Ronald Reagan and Polish joke and you'll see. Don't you believe this disqualifies him from receiving Poland's highest award?

I don't believe it disqualifies him at all. He did much more good for Poland and some jokes are meaningless. Some Poles talk Polish jokes too and they laugh at them too.

I agree Hello, Ronald Reagan has done more for the Polish people than any other President in US history, I bet he has told many a joke in his time, Jewish, Irish, American,

Any body heard of a good Polish joke? I hope I don't get disqualified from this forum!

Ronald Reagan was a man with a sense of humor....

Surely, especially that he was an actor in the first place.

I think you have to realize Lech Kaczynski is a shill for the American republican party in Poland, that is the main reason he is honoring the hero of the republicans Ronald Reagan. If you don't agree just try and think of one time he has disagreed with George Bush. Also, doesn't it bother you that someone who was non Polish like Reagan was telling Polish jokes in front of large crowds. That doesn't show a lot of respect for Polish people. I guess it's alright then for Lech Kaczynski to tell Jewish jokes in his next speech.

I think these "rewards" are more for people who give them.

But what Poland really needs is some one like Ronald Reagan or MThatcher. All these social-d***moc-rats have done so bad...

Ronald Reagan had some good ideas, but he really didn't do much after George HW Bush had him shot...Margaret Thatcher's big achievement was getting a lot of British

soldiers killed over some God-forsaken islands in the South Atlantic & then selling off
major industries & assets of the British people to the Rothschild family...one of the first
examples of 'privitization'...the Kaczynskis seem to be going to bat for Poland, even though the younger people don't find them attractive...they would prefer a 'Bill Clinton'

type!...but, still, what did Ronald Reagan ever do for Poland?

George HW Bush had him shot

What? Are saying that Hinckley was hired by Bush?

Is there proof? 1st time I've heard of this.

Neil Bush, who busted out Silverado Savings & Loan in Colorado, tune the tune of about $1 billion (which the US taxpayers paid for), was a business partner of Scott Hinckley...

in fact, they had dinner together right before Reagan was shot...who shot Reagan (or
was one of the shooters)?...John Hinckley, Scotty boy's son...old man Bush in effect
ran the US after that.

If Ronald Reagan told Polish jokes that is of course unfortunate. That doesn't overshadow him liberating Poland and Eastern Europe from Russian communist occupation though. The medal is well deserved.

I agree, he did want to end communism but why it took him, I don't know...I don't know why someone else didn't think of it first *giggles*
