Polish people are , and especially women are different in compare to a <arabic> origin or <hindu> where only man allowed to have a sex:). We are civilized, and only one can tell if she's virgin or not . That's her or his choice.

AFAICT viriginity at marriage has never been the norm in Poland. Expecting at marriage is much more common (note high percentage of VPB's - visibly pregnant brides).

I thik that in Poland beng virgin unitll marriage was never very common (maby in XIXth cenury...)...

Having wedding being pregnant is even a kind of Polish tradition ;-)
Even statistics say that th first child is born less than 9 months after wedding in more than 50% cases...

I remember when i lived in Lobez for a while i was quite interested in a mig 15 fighter that was on a stick outside the local school that my girlfriend taught at...I was told by many people that local tradition said that when a virgin left the school the plane would fly again...it stood there many years , but last time i went to the town ....the plane was gone..!

Some say it was taken away due to the fact it was a bit loose and liable to fall on somebodies head...others say that it really did fly away , is this a sign that morals are improving...?
