I've received flowers at home, but never at work. I think it would be cool to receive them at work, even if it's not the custom. You might get teased a bit, but that wouldn't matter! It would be the kind of teasing that leaves a warm feeling inside.

Ladies - you can send me flowers if you want, but only if:

they are still attached to the plant,
the plant is alive and healthy (no powdert milew, leaf spot, botryitis, etc.),
preferably something Mediterranean, Australian or South American,
is likely to produce fruit (edible),
doesn't grow too big for my garden.

Or a single red rose (I can be romantic at times).

My boyfriend is a bit traditional, so i dont know if he will appreciate getting flowers from me... but i really like the idea. But Im a little scared that he might get the wrong notion. So maybe I'll just try it next time :)

Any suggestions as to what i can send my guy?

Please... only romantic ones ^_^

Dzieki!

i sent them but he loved them. if he loves you he will get the right message. he may act differently in front of his friends-but really its what you and he think that matters.

I guess you are right. Nothing beats flowers if I wanna be romantic. But I'm also thinking of something which wont die eventually and will end up hidden somewhere (like in book pages).

FYI, I am searching for online flower shop in Szczecin already :D

EXACTLY!!! We as women love them..... how come guys can't as well.

Ahh a donkey after my own heart.

And it makes for a great relationship!!

you could always do something completely unexpected that surprises him. Ex. my guy loves tennis.... it is his life. I surprised him with tickets to the US Open. Didn't say a word just sent them directly to work. And the thank you was worth everything.

Bottom line is he loves it that I think about him all the time. Wheather it is flower, baloons, a bottle of wine, something that is of interest to him, men love to be thought of. Go for it girl!!

Picture this:

Man brings flowers home for his wife.
Wife says "What are you apologising for?"

Woman gives flowers to her husband.
"Great! Now I've got some dead plant genitalia to deal with!"

Wine works far better.

actually its a tiger, but we do have a donkey too.. except that one is mine. I dont think many guys would admit to this, but secretly like them.

Nope!!!

Guys will cuddle when no one is looking. Eveyone like a soft teddy bear every now and again. :-)

you're quite close to the truth, but most men will choose a woman over a bear to cuddle with.

Hehehe was that a subconcious error.....

Just razzing you.

I am a romantic at heart if you haven't figured that out yet and I think most guys are too we as women just need to pull it out of you guys. LOL

Oh in 100% agreement. But when they aren't around you gotta settle for something. :) And why not a cute teddy? I kind of enjoy a good pillow with my man's t shirt. :)

sending flowers?

I'd like to send my Polish boyfriend red roses... is that okay? Or not the done thing in Poland?

It's not common for guys in Poland to receive flowers, specially red roses. I bet he will get all red and embarrased!

I recommend: pocztakwiatowa.pl/0/0/1/index.html?language=1

You can order flowers from ALL over the world and they are beautiful. My bf ordered a basket for me on my name day and they stood for a month.

My Polish boyfriend of 7 months is in spain working att he moment.i ammissing himso i have sent him flowers.is this cool with polish guys? we are both romantic

Flowers? To a man? Thats focked up! Send him a watch with a romantic engraving or something, dont treat him like he's some kind of a fag.

not sure if I should admit this but my man likes getting cuddly toys :) does that make him less of a man??

Yes it does make him less of a man, no wonder the West is so f*cked up when women forget how to wear skirts and men forget how to wear balls.

Or not the done thing in Poland?

If you want to freak him out go right ahead, when my gf missed me she sent me a tie with mooses screwing each other and the other time a nice watch with a "come home quick, i love you" engraved.

Whats with you, are you so focked up that you see nothing wrong with sending men flowers? I really hope thats just forum baiting, otherwise you and your partners need to be put down with extreme prejudice for promoting things against nature.
