We are probably more "Old School" and hold some of the older ideals a bit more to heart. I know this is definitely true with most, not all, American men. I don't know many English people so all I can help with is my Americano friends.

Short, sweet, and true. Go by personality, not nationality.

I think when they find the *right* woman, they are more loyal than English/American guys. They usually expect to make a commitment and marry someday...sooner rather than later.

But I think they have quite high standards. They really do want someone who is the good cook and housekeeper, takes care of herself physically, and spoils them rotten....career is fine as long as it doesn't interfere with the above.

My (now-ex) Polish boyfriend was shocked when he saw how messy my house was. I, on the other hand, felt justified, as I do have a six-year-old. But I wised up and cleaned the place up. I actually like my home more now.

So if you can handle the parameters -- go for it!

Yeah if you can handle a Momma's boy who wants you to do everything for him as was mentioned above. Go for it.

As for loyalty...it doesn't have to do with nationality it has to do with the individual. Just as many Poles cheat as anywhere else.

Jezus!....take the blinkers off, it's not only Polish men that have standards...and it's not only Polish women that are house proud - and some of us keep our homes and ourselves to a high standard regardless of having a man round.....

Hmm, Jonesy..I dont think any woman wants that...

Hm, you call this high standards? I'd rather call it an archaic attitude towards womanhood. The time has passed that women only should cook and take care of her hubby who's -for X's sake- some construction worker or something. If they are really looking for that, then they gonna have a hard time finding one; especially in the Western World. Equality rules and I think women should have just as much chances as men in the world. We are not living in the Interbellum anymore.

I am not Polish, but I do have high standards; I like my ladies to be intelligent, independent, self-sufficient and definitively not clingy...

In general we are (it's not my opinion only)...
I've been told that polish guys are more family orientated with strong family values ..not everyone of course. But only very few of us are going to pub on saturday early afternoon to get pissed up as bastards. We are going out late night :):):)

((it's nowhere near the life i had in Yorkshire. Pepole are more arrogant and 2faced. Windsor is beautiful but bloody dear though. ...i've been told by Yorkshire man ..about 2 yrs ago: "Remember boy, Yorkshire is a Cream of the World" ...now i know IT WAS TRUE!!

White Rose County, Leeds United and Yorkshire Dales - i'll miss them for the end of my life))

White Rose County,

Hmmm, ya talking to a Lancashire lass here...Red Rose County :) Northerners are far superior to those nasty Southern swine :) But I hope you're enjoying it anyway...

Northeners are superior - no doubt about it!!! But i couldn't stand northern accent when i was there. Besides of that everything is way better up north.
