Polish Male Reputations....

At the risk of being blasted into hyperspace by all the male forum members here, can someone explain to me why Polish men seem to have a reputation for drinking too much, being continually unfaithfull, and being impatient and hot-tempered? I thought it was just a silly sterotype, but as I only know one Polish man, and he seems to be ticking all the above boxes, i'm kind of wondering what the deal is with you Poles?

(Its a darn shame, as apart from those major personality flaws you are all very sexy!)

..Or would a Polish woman handle a man differently to us sweet little english roses?!

Polish men a sauve, gentle, kind and very charming.

Such men are only few in the world, and probably most take birth in Poland only. These men are hard-working, laborious and have a very good sense of humor.

Polish men keep getting letters from women all over Europe and all over the world for something as simple as a date. However these men are very righteous and sincere, and therefore prefer the more traditional way of love.

Polish men are tall, handsome, well built and ofcourse...not to mention their confidence. Such confidence can only be found in either great legendary men of the world, or now, in the masses of Polish men (which ofcourse is the reason of the envy of men around the world for this particular breed of men).

Polish men are kind, welcoming and sincere. They aim to built the most beautiful country in Europe. A country welcoming all nations... a country which reflects the beauty of the world.

:) ... oh and ofcourse... Polish men are very very humble and honest people :)

Well, I can only speak for myself, but I'm only one of the above (impatient, definitely!), so maybe it's just part of the Slavic temperament?

But, speaking as a man, I think men tend to become unfaithful if they aren't getting any/getting enough, so maybe that says as much about the women they are with, as about the men themselves? And yes, I know that the usual suspects will jump on me for this, but you have to agree there's some truth in it. And I'm not suggesting it's a *good* thing that they behave in this way, just that it's a possible explanation.

As for the "bad-tempered" bit, a lot of Polish blokes still think/act like it's the 1950s and macho bull***t still seems to be the name of the game - and unfortunately, a lot of Polish women seem to encourage this too - if you're not a shaven-headed Neanderthal then you must be a bit "gej" or something (the irony is, these guys dress/look like all the blokes you see holding hands in Old Compton Street, but I digress :) ) Pisses me off, but hopefully this attitude will change in time.

Drinking? Well, other than the "one of the lads" macho culture mentioned above, Poland's environment/housing can be pretty depressing, so I suppose it's an escape. I hardly ever drink myself, but coming from the UK, where there is a binge-drinking culture, I don't seem to fit in anywhere! lol

please... spare us the romanticising... you'll be telling us next that we always collect our fair Slavic maidens on horseback with a feather in our cap... lol

Polish Male Reputations....

Most of the males in my family are very educated, goal setting achievers, monogamous, family-oriented and a great provider for their family. However, a few of them can also be a little stubborn and moody at times.

It's not a stereotype. As the stats show, Polish women simply love unfaithful, impatient, hot-tempered drunks.

British women seem to be much luckier with a steady supply of faithful, patient and calm abstinents so they , so they want to try as many of them as possible. Hence divorce rates in the UK are around 2.5 times higher than in Poland.

Rank Country Divorce Rate (Per 1,000 Population)

#7 Australia 2.52

# 9 EU Average 1.90

Kind Polish men sit on their back in Poland, playing with kids, watering grass and the last thing they going to is wandering EU so you should polish your Polish and visit Poland to find out ;)

Thanks to all for the contributions, especially Lodz - you sound puurrrfect, are you single??!! I didn't include the 'bad driver' category as i haven't seen him drive a car yet, but i'm sure he'll live down to my expectations....

Oh and 'Shelleys'......no i havent come across any losers yet...but this man is very different - gold teeth, tattoos, piercings.....intriguingly horrific in fact, but thanks for your vote of confidence anyway!

Some fit the above, some don't. Some are aggressive, some are placid. The ones who are placid get aggressive sometimes and the ones who are aggressive are placid sometimes.

Why are you dating him? Its only accent that makes him any different from a nasty scrote any woman in their right mind would cross the road to avoid.

You better watch yaself, there'll be a stampeed of ladies bangin ya door down after comments like that! ;0)

Shelleys,

why do you have such an attitude??!! You may have a point though...maybe its just the fact he has a sexy voice and i havent got a clue what he's saying that is interesting....And we haven't dated yet, i can't seem to make myself understood at the moment - hence the need for translations!..
ShelleyS 14 | 2,893

And we haven't dated yet

Then dont, he sounds like a fukwit inbred.

why do you have such an attitude??!!

Ive not, Im being honest. Ask yourself this: Would you date an English guy with this guys problems? I'll answer it for you, WOULD YOU FEK. keep walking sweety, because he sounds like trouble you dont need or want.

I suggest you say to him Spierdalaj - you can say it speerr-dal-eye
