Well i will be spending Christmas with my girlfriend (who is Polish) this year in England, its the first time she's been away from home for Christmas so i want to make it special, what can I do that might put a smile on her face or can you recommend any gifts that she might not expect, it doesnt have to be expensive but something she would be surprised.
whereabouts are you? have you got a polish foodshop around?
impress her with some polish cooking. all girls love men who can cook and if you cook something from her home you score twice... buy a nice bottle of polish vodka to round things off (zubrowka is my favourite, best with applejuice...)
there are many more possibilities, but i guess you already get the point(?)...
How about getting lots of Polish food in - and then trying to recreate a bit of a Polish Christmas theme. Probably lots of people on this forum who can help you with that.
But then again, maybe she is looking forward to an English xmas....
yea thats what im asking really jambo, what actions could i take to meke her feel at home, is there any traditions? I am already etting some Polish food and the vodka is taker care of.
