I want to do something special for my Polish guy that really means a lot to him related to Poland/Polish language, etc. Any suggestions to help me? I know people are people, but I want to do something culturally for him because he has fond memories of Poland and embraces his culture.
I'm American and I want to do something special for my Polish guy....

I've had a couple of brilliant nights out at the Polish cultural centre in London... meal, drinks and dancing until the wee small hours. Is there anything similar in your city?
No, we live in a very small town. I was thinking more along the lines of writing something, a recipe, a gift, or something special that would remind him of Poland. Something to surprise him that he would think I would know or understand about his culture.

Why not cook a meal together? - get him to help you with it. That kind of thing can be fun.
Can you get a dvd of a Polish film and watch it with him (make sure that it has subtitles of course).

What about a couple of good Polish love songs and I can make a CD?? The dinner sounds great!

get a female friend of yours and give him a three some.
Yeah, that's polish tradition and an answer to all problems with making gifts :)
