Just goto any photgraphy shop, some dude will take you out back and take a pic for around 20 - 30 PLN, 20 minutes later you'll have the images.

Depending on what kind of ID you are getting I would be careful where you get the pictures done.

I recently renewed my British passport & went to a local place which obviously did not know exactly what was required, ended up being told by the embassy to go somewhere under Dworzec Centralny for another set - cannot remember if it was fotokubus though.

Yep, you should take care. I needed 5 photos for my Stała Karta Pobytu, made them in Arkadia and when I came to Długa it appeared they were the wrong ones, because they should be in profile :(.

Went to a photographer in the passageway at Metro Ratusz... made another 8...
So now I am stuck with a stack of photos...

The Foto Kobus in Dworzec Centralny is nothing fancy and is perfect for ID pictures, costs 20-30zl and is very quick.
