My laaste vraag, kan jy al Pools praat?

It is an english language forum :)

Interesting looking language though. Very short words and partial English...this is an African language? I thought SA was British.

They're talking about the usual things. How long have you been here ? What are you doing ? Why are you in Poland ?

I didn't mean to be rude, it was just really good to chat to someone that is also able to speak Afrikaans. It's one of the 11 official languages of South Africa. And yes, we were just asking about the usual things like Wroclaw said. Back to english now...

I live quite a distance from Wroclaw: I live in Warsaw. But it's nice to *hear* some Afrikaans again. I also just want to say to klacz that South Africans as a nation support each other, and we feel at home as soon as we make contact with one of our own in a strange country. If any Afrikaner wants to talk Afrikaans I'd love to chat. I'm normally found on vriende.com

I am from CPT and marryng a Polski - heard that the Polish govt are quite strict about marriages. You need birth certificate and other docs and have to get married twice at the registry office in Poland at least go there twice. - all I know so far.

Hello,

from Krakow. My sister and I are both living here and are South Africans. Thinking of forming a club so that it will be easier to get in touch with other South Africans. Perhaps one already exists?

Does anyone know?
Thanks!
