Polonius3 1,000 | 12,446 18 Oct 2008 / #1A few years ago quite a few Polish yuppies and go-with-the-flow wanabees began sporting the unshaven bum look-- a 5-day growth similar to that seen in jails , skidrow flop houses and homeless shelters. This was rough on girlfriends' faces--like kissing sandpaper--and looked like hell. Does one still encounter this in Poland?
Gosiaa 2 | 89 18 Oct 2008 / #3Polonius3 I have a question to pose to you .Why are you starting some meaningless topics ?Think of something interesting to start a threador at least explain why are you asking about thelatest shave/unshave look .
OP Polonius3 1,000 | 12,446 19 Oct 2008 / #4Customs, trends, lifestyles, ways of doing things and other manifestations of human behaviour within society are all legitmate subjects of sociological enquiry. Since this is a Polish-themed forum, the question was not formulated in reference to Bolivia, Belgium or Bosnia.
Wahldo 19 Oct 2008 / #8Well "edit" .. to the British bum literally means the buttocks. So Osiol says "Who shaves their ass?"I don't know who shaves their ass. I'm sure he will explain it in 5 paragraphs.
OP Polonius3 1,000 | 12,446 19 Oct 2008 / #11Isn't there anybody who regularly circulates in and/or scrutinises Polish yuppy, macho and wannabee circles who can answer the original quesiton: is the five-day growth still popular or is it declining or what?
Wroclaw 44 | 5,384 19 Oct 2008 / #12If you had asked the question: Do some men wear stubble ?Then the answer would be: Some do.But making it seem as if it is a bad thing to wear such growth. Especially in the way you put it, is not going to win you any friends or be taken seriously.

gtd 3 | 639 20 Oct 2008 / #14I bet that guy is more decent than most of the gelled mohawk, tiny rectangular glasses wearing, too cool for school morons that populate Warsaw.
joepilsudski 26 | 1,389 20 Oct 2008 / #15I'm sure he is and could give them some advice, but they wouldn't listen to him.
