How do Poles feel about non whites/non Slavs living in Poland?

I am sorry then, but you are wrong or live in an area that is particulary populated by Polish ppl. The emigration to Germany is accidental I would say for many reason, first more ppl speak English rather than German, it is cheaper (sic! but it's true) to travel to Great Britain than Germany, the British economy is better, and finally British people are just more welcoming (eg look at the openness of British market).

If you are talking about sesonal workers, you should realize that that without workers on those underpaid positions Germany would be in even bigger crisis.

I can undestand the flustration of some people over the economic stagnation, but turning into immigrants as the source of all evil is simple cause but not understanding of complex processes in economy and society...

I never disputed it. As I written though it is accidental. Maybe measured in thousands. The real Polish emigration arrived in Germany many years ago. But it is whole different story.

Did U read that 2 Asians where attacked in Gdansk last week and now they are in the hospital, Did you read that racism is on the increase in Poland...(do not quote me...but i think its because of Obama's rule of the US.) ...what hurts me is that Poles just ignore this crimes against this extremely weak minority .... Asians, blacks, Gypsies and other non white living in Poland. The police dont do enough to protect this people. The attacked would be blamed on guys who are just drunk and that is where it ends....its a pity....

Lovehateyou is keeping silent - hasn't replied to my question whether he condems Black racism towards Poles. Should I understand that he is for the racism in question? And another smoothtalker, Ilovedetroit, is also keeping quiet in regard to his former remarks that this forum is allegedly Black and Pakistani bashing. Oh, so when Blacks and Pakistanis are bashed it's bad, but when the Poles are bashed - for example by psychopaths of Mr Bubbles' ilk - then it's okay, right lovehateyou and Ilovedetroit? That's good to know - I'll know now what to tell the Polish people about the Black attitude towards them.

Update: lovehateyou has actually replied to my comments with a post whose main message appears to be: it's not 'racial minorities' who are racist towards Poles, it's the Poles who are racist towards 'racial minorities.' He has denied the numerous cases of attacks against Poles by Blacks and others (e.g. in London). I'm going to translate this into Polish and post on Polish websites, for the Poles to read. :) Well, my friend, my attitude towards those like yourself is now changing. :)

I mentioned Poland....not UK. Poles are also Minorities in the UK. They suffer from about the same treatment other minorities faces in the UK. There is in fact a large base of minorities in the UK and they could always support themselves and seek justice if they are treated wrongly.

But in Poland, there is not base so support this people...most of them are students, immigrants, and maybe workers. Some of them..this is the first time they are living outside their families. They don't deserve to be killed, attacked or racially abused. They are only trying to get a life...and skinheads (plus those who are not skinheads but dont condemn skinheads) in Poland wont give them a chance to live a decent life.

So your organisation deals with cases of racism against non-whites in Poland, but not with cases of racism against the Poles outside of Poland, e.g. in Holland?

You know, Poland was a good place for people escaping religious prosecution during the medieval ages. I think many Poles forget that we opened our doors to Jews during the Spanish Inquisition and that the Tatars who lived in Poland from 14-18 century brought Islam with them. For generations these people lived together amicably. The Tartars were even granted szlachta (nobility) status.

Unfortunately, today things have changed somewhat. Poland wants to crawl up USA's ass so far that it has adopted the phobias of the West (like Islamophobia). It has forgotten it's longstanding Slavic traditions and is more likely even to relate to Westerners than to its Slavic brothers (for example Russians).

I prefer the Commonwealth of the past to today's "central European" (yet another attempt to distance ourselves from the East) republic. What gives me hope, however, is that America will never view Poland as equal or as civilized enough (to them Poland is the land of Borat). Here in the West, Poland is backwards and Poles encounter racism here despite the fact that we are European. Some White American's don't even view Slavs as properly White. Remember, Hitler didn't think of us as pure white either -- we were too Slavic. I think we should embrace ourselves and stop trying to get approval from the West.

Which longstanding Slavic traditions would they be? Also, try separating politics from the people. Most Poles don't seek approval from the West. The government, however, often tries to curry favour with Western governments.

If Poland were to be a type of bread, it'd be Mighty White. Poland is full of whites. I've seen very few dark-skinned Poles. Even Sweden, regarded as having a hugely white population introduced dark-skinned people into its borders.

There are so many racists here. In Britain, there was a major crackdown on racist slurs at football matches. At times like that, I'd rather not know Polish. Still, the monkey noises were a dead give-away.

Yeah, that is funny. My g/f (or ex-, don't know anymore) actually stated that Poland was part of Western Europe :)
They may have been the most Western country of the Warsaw-Pact, but they are still a Central European country at it's most Western. I don't think it's racist if somebody calls me a Western European, because that is what I am. So why would it be racist if I call somebody who is obviously from a country to the East of mine and I don't know which, "Eastern European"? Or Central European, for that matter.
