jump_bunny 5 | 237 18 Nov 2009 / #3This thread is a very good idea, although it would have been better if the question was about regions rather than actual places. Bear in mind many people might live in small towns or villages all around Poland. I live in a small place but study in Kielce. Now, what should I vote for! :)
scottie1113 7 | 898 18 Nov 2009 / #4Gdansk. I don't want to live in any other city in Poland because I love it here.
Seanus 15 | 19,672 19 Nov 2009 / #5Gliwice :) Hmm...doesn't Jump Bunny look like Brzydula in her avatar? ;)
Seanus 15 | 19,672 19 Nov 2009 / #7I just meant the look with the big glasses, her pose and the way she wears her hair. As an actress, she is actually quite pretty :)
jump_bunny 5 | 237 19 Nov 2009 / #8As an actress, she is actually quite prettyNah, I'm still better looking! But thanks :)
Seanus 15 | 19,672 19 Nov 2009 / #9Well, I know better than to comment about other women on an open forum and one which my wife browses so, no comment :)I live in Gliwice, a city with some history and has enough for my needs. The lack of abundant options is actually a good thing, it keeps me out of trouble!
frd 7 | 1,399 19 Nov 2009 / #11The lack of abundant options is actually a good thing, it keeps me out of trouble! It sounds like somebody forced these nasty thoughts into you ;) "it keeps me out of trouble" hahaAnyways, Zabrze here (Silesian metropolitan area, gosh this sounds grand)...
Eurola 4 | 1,902 19 Nov 2009 / #12I live in a small place but study in Kielce.Ever heard of Nowiny? Sitkowka? Slowik? :)
Seanus 15 | 19,672 19 Nov 2009 / #13Tak się mowi, frd :) Nah, Gliwice is fine, it's just going through a grey phase at the moment.
jump_bunny 5 | 237 19 Nov 2009 / #15Ever heard of Nowiny? Sitkowka? Slowik? :)One of my friends who studies with me is from Nowiny :) I take it you have been there?
Bartolome 2 | 1,085 22 Nov 2009 / #17When I don't live in Glasgowce, I live near Opole. Actually these villages surrounding bigger towns are becoming their 'bedrooms' as you can buy a piece of land, build a house there for a bit less money than in aforementioned towns. Commuting to work may be an issue, but people have even more cars nowadays.
jonni 16 | 2,481 22 Nov 2009 / #18Warsaw. I enjoy visiting Katowice on business, and sometimes think I could live there, but Warsaw's metropolitan feel is something I wouldn't want to lose.Is it just me, or has anybody else got the impression that there are a lot of British people living in the 3-city?
scottie1113 7 | 898 22 Nov 2009 / #19I wouldn't say there are a lot of British people here, unless you consider a handful a lot. BTW, I'm not one of them.
